What To Expect After You Reach Out

Curious about what happens after you tell us all about your brand and business? We love that because it means you're thinking about reaching out!

First, we figure out if we're a fit to work together.

Every inquiry sent through the form above goes straight to Bourn Creative’s founder Jen, and lands directly in her inbox. She’ll read everything you share about your business and brand and get back to you within 24 hours. She’ll also be your main point of contact — unless you send us anything that resembles spam, which gets deleted.

  • If it looks like we’re a good fit, you’ll get a link to book a no-pressure get-to-know-you chat via Zoom. We’ll talk about your business, your brand, where you’re at today, where you want to go, what’s in the way, and how we can help — and answer your questions.
  • If we don’t think we’re a fit, we’ll tell you up front. We won’t waste your time, ghost you, or leave you hanging. And we’ll do our best to help out — to share a referral, recommend resources, or offer guidance that moves you in the right direction.

Then we dial in the details — the scope, budget, and timeline.

If we agree that working together would be awesome, we’ll dig into the nitty-gritty details. We’ll talk about the scope of work, budget, timeline, and expectations. And because every business is different, what comes next is different, too.

  • Sometimes the best next step is an initial a roadmapping project to clarify fuzzy details and define the exact scope of work, project requirements, and next steps.
  • Sometimes the engagement details are super clear, and the next step is a proposal that outlines the scope of work, budget, timeline, terms, and all the stuff that’s good to get in writing and agreed to in advance.
  • Sometimes we send a contract and get to work right away because clients are excited, locked in, and ready to go, and they want to move fast.

Still thinking about it? No problem! We'll be here when you're ready.

You do you. There are no gross, pushy, high-pressure sales tactics in our world.

Our best clients, favorite projects, and longest-lasting partnerships never start that way. Your investment is a big deal, so take your time and do your due diligence — and if chatting now can help you later, we’re here for that, too! And since you’re checking us out anyway, why not…
